About Eliana Glenn
Hi! I’m Eliana, and this summer, I’ll be biking from Seattle to San Diego to fight sex trafficking as a member of Pedal the Pacific’s 10th team! Pedal the Pacific is an organization committed to raising awareness and funds to fight sex trafficking, and each year, a team of girls bikes the Pacific coast (1,700 miles!!) in 50 days to spark conversations, support survivor-centered organizations, and remind people that trafficking happens in every community. I believe that every person deserves safety, dignity, and the freedom to choose their own future.
I've been passionate about women's health and sexual health throughout my academic career, and Pedal the Pacific gives me an opportunity to make an impact in this field outside of the classroom. There are many misconceptions about legal, consensual sex work that harm the health and safety of women involved. I aim to educate and advocate to open minds and challenge the stigma surrounding sex work and sexual health, and bring awareness to the very real effects of sex trafficking.
Your support, whether through donating, sharing my page, or learning more (visit @pedalthepacific on insta!), helps fund prevention programs, survivor services, and the incredible organizations working to end sex trafficking. Thank you for being part of this mission with me! 🩵
