Olivia Sobieszczyk / Pedal the Pacific 2026
I ride because no person should be for sale and all human beings have the right to feel safe on this Earth. Not everyone has the ability to use their voices, so I will use mine to advocate and spread awareness to fight against sex trafficking.

About Olivia Sobieszczyk
Hi, my name is Olivia and this summer I am riding 1,700 miles with Pedal the Pacific to raise awareness for sex trafficking. Some important facts about me is I am an avid coffee drinker and could probably talk about it for hours. I also love reading and during any free time, I typically have my nose in a book. However, my adventurous spirit is something about myself that I truly cherish. I am always looking for the next adventure, which has led me here, to this moment, beginning this new adventure of biking the pacific!
When I was searching for potential careers in high school, I stumbled upon the FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force and immediately knew that was what I wanted to do. For the last five years, I have had a sticky note on my laptop with that task force written on it to remind myself of my "why" throughout undergrad, and now through grad school. The staggering statistics regarding human trafficking in the United States continues to spark my desire to advocate for a safer future where no human is for sale. When I learned about Pedal the Pacific, I knew it would be a unique way to not only increase my knowledge regarding an issue I feel passionately about, but to spread awareness to those around me. I am so excited to be a part of Pedal the Pacific's 2026 team and to embark on this journey alongside nine other remarkable women!
